A Hidden Little Gem
I had been wanting to do a photo shoot at Hightower Falls, a family owned wedding and event venue in Cedartown, Georgia for a while. When Kelly reached out to me and wanted to do an Engagement / Christmas session with her fiancé Travis, I knew this would be the perfect location! Shooting the session just before golden hour during the week gave us the opportunity to have the property all to ourselves. Elizabeth, the venue owner is amazing to work with and made it extremely easy to shoot on the property.
And let me tell you, the location is absolutely stunning! The thing that immediately grabs your attention is the 80 foot cascading waterfall, but there's so much more at this location that is just breathtaking. Another beautiful backdrop is the 1850 stone grist mill ruins and the large horse pasture.
I absolutely loved working with Kelly & Travis. The love and energy between them is evident in their session photos. They were fun, energetic and up for any poses that I wanted to do! I wish you both nothing but happiness on your next adventures in life!
